"The property was perfect and peaceful just right for relaxing and "getting away from it all". The coach house was just right with lovely books and theme particularly with our family connections to India and history/archaeology. My boys loved the pool/air football/table tennis table - I couldn't get them off it !! The region had loads on offer with walks, castles, gardens, etc. Managed a trip to Hadrian's Wall and Edinburgh. Thank you so much for making our holiday special!!

"Fabulous property and extremely well equipped, especially when cooking a Christmas dinner! Superb size property for 7 people and a dog with everyone having enough space to live in and move around. The owner was lovely having decorated the property before we arrived. A considerate and festive touch. Thank you for a wonderful break. Will recommend you highly to other friends and relatives.

"Great choice for get together of my family (based in Leeds and Sheffield) and my brother's from Newcastle and who travelled up for a day. Very comfortable and warm accommodation, excellent facilities, I was able to cook and serve Sunday lunch for 12 easily in the good sized kitchen. Plenty of room outside for a game of football and small children to run about safely. Well situated with two pubs serving food within walking distance and plenty of good walks from the door. Would recommend.

"This is a fantastic property for a group of friends, extended family. We felt it was a cosy comfortable and attractive property to stay in and the garden was beautiful. We were fortunate to be blessed by the weather and had fabulous walks along the beach to eat kippers at Newton by the Sea, a visit to Lindisfarne and a memorable sea trip to Inner Farne where we saw nesting puffins and other sea birds and colonies of seals only a few metres away.
